To publish a notice when an animal is lost, or when you have found one, and to put the two people in touch without either having to reveal themselves. The notice stays online for ninety days and can be extended in one step.
It does not replace a veterinary emergency: an injured animal or one in danger is cared for first. It does not search for the animal on your behalf and guarantees nothing: it makes the notice visible and protects the contact.
An e-mail address, to send you a six-digit code. The code is valid for two hours and five attempts; without it nothing is published. The link that lets you manage the notice is sent to that address.
Your contact is never published: messages go through the service, five per person over fourteen days. No notice is indexed by search engines. You withdraw or close the notice whenever you want, and whatever identifies you disappears at once.
Bring it to safety without putting yourself at risk. If it is injured, a vet first; they can also read a microchip. Report it here: the notice is visible right away and the person looking for it can write to you through the service. The law requires a found animal to be reported; your canton's services tell you where.
Nothing. The service asks for neither a name nor a payment for a notice; it keeps your address to reach you, then erases the notice and whatever identifies you once it is closed. No data is sold. Your address is used only for this service and is entrusted only to the technical providers that send the e-mails and host the service.
